Squat, widest at shoulder, tapers to sightly narrower flat bottom, short neck. 2 scenes with human figures engraved on sides:Emperor, seated on dais, in garden, surrounded by 9 officials and 1 male dancer. Architectural background, and trees. Other side ; mounted dancer as warrior, holding spear, banner attendant at side, 3 men kneel, 1 holding stags horn, 2 men with swords under pine. Mountains in background. Clothing, tree trunks etc. filled with dark blue enamel. 2 filled holes for handle on 2 sides. 2 dents in shoulder height 8 centimeters max diameter 15.5 centimeters.

Upper portion of exterior sides turns in. Decoration on exterior sides; blossoming plum tree on each side in painted and sprinkled gold; with a crest; blossom within a black diamond, withing a gold circle. Very flat, dull black ground. Interior plain, black. Handles have gold-plated copper bands on edge with engraved scroll-work. Bowl is very worn, has many chips, scratches and gold decoration is wearing off showing red undercoats. Height 15 cm . Maximum Diameter 31 cm (end of handle to handle).

Large, wide, somewhat shallow bowl has nearly vertical sides and flat bottom. Short narrow footed base. Glaze is a light green-grey, opaque celedon. The crackles are large and stained dark of 'earth worm crackle' style, with long deep crackles. Fine crackles between the dark ones. Recessed foot is glazed except for foot. Many scratches in surface of glaze. Height 9.6 centimeters, diameter 22 centimeters.

Below: an emblem of the eight immortals on each of the eight sides in various colors amid fillets and leaf scrollwork on white ground. Multi-colored geometric band on base of bowl, blue curl-work band on foot. Gold on rim. Iron-red reserve seal mark on base of T'ung Chih reign (1862-1874). Surface of interior glaze very scratched, many stains. Height 8.7 centimeters, maximum diameter 21.4.

Exterior has representation of boy with cock, and hen with chicks amid peonys, grass, rocks, etc., in rich translucent overglaze enamels. Detail in black. Calligraphic text in rectangular area with 132 characters and seal. Seal mark of Ch'ien Lung reign (1736-1795) on base in iron-red. Body is thin, but many impurities in surface. Height 5.1 centimeters, diameter 12 centimeters.
