Bowl, lacquer, large; globular shape, on high flared foot, three-lobed handles on two sides. Upper portion of exterior sides turns in. Decoration on exterior sides; blossoming plum tree on each side in painted and sprinkled gold; with a crest; blossom within a black diamond, withing a gold circle. Very flat, dull black ground. Interior plain, black. Handles have gold-plated copper bands on edge with engraved scroll-work. Bowl is very worn, has many chips, scratches and gold decoration is wearing off showing red undercoats. Height 15 cm . Maximum Diameter 31 cm (end of handle to handle).
