- China. Bowl, porcelain with overglaze enamel decoration. Hemisphere shape, on short narrow foot. Interior plain white. Exterior has representation of boy with cock, and hen with chicks amid peonys, grass, rocks, etc., in rich translucent overglaze enamels. Detail in black. Calligraphic text in rectangular area with 132 characters and seal. Seal mark of Ch'ien Lung reign (1736-1795) on base in iron-red. Body is thin, but many impurities in surface. Height 5.1 centimeters, diameter 12 centimeters.
