Plum blossom decoration in light-blue underglaze on upper half of one side with brown-blue outline. Light blue band around lower half. Two bands around short, narrow foot. Rim worn. Many small scratches on body. Height 10.5 cm. From Japan, Saga Prefecture (Hizen Province), Arita, "Imari" ware. Attributed to 18th century.

Hearst Museum object titled Vase, accession number 9-12328, described as Oil bottle, porcelain. Blue and white "Imari" ware. Squat ovoid globular shape with constricted neck, and flared mouth. Light gray-blue blossom motif on one side (design similar to 9-12327). Darker grey outline and detail, on grey-white ground. Dried oil around mouth. Bottom has large crack around foot. Foot chipped. Height 9.5 cm. From Japan, Saga Prefecture (Hizen Province), Arita, "Imari" ware. Attributed to Late 18th - Early 19th century.

Grey-blue brushed underglaze decoration of an arabesque design. Continuous vine with leaves all-round the body in repeating design, on white ground. Many brown specks on body. Nicks in foot rim. Height 14.5cm. From Japan, Saga Prefecture (Hizen Province), Arita, "Imari" ware. Attributed to Late 17th century.

Brushed cobalt design of leaves and tendrils (grape vines) and two bands around neck. Lower half is crackled, stained and sticky with all. Lip has two small chips and the base is chipped. Height 14 cm. From Japan, Saga Prefecture (Hizen), Arita, "Imari" ware. Late 18th- Early 19th century.

Undeglae brushed decoration in light blue of stems, leaves and larger petaled flowers on a ground of white. The lower half has greyed. Grey-blue, band around lower half and two on the short foot. The glaze has many small bubbles in it. A few pits and scratches around body. Height 16cm. From Japan, Saga Prefecture (Hizen Province), Arita, "Imari" ware. Attributed to 18th century.
