Oil bottle, porcelain. Blue and white "Imari" ware. Squat ovoid globular shape with constricted neck, and flared mouth. Light gray-blue blossom motif on one side (design similar to 9-12327). Darker grey outline and detail, on grey-white ground. Dried oil around mouth. Bottom has large crack around foot. Foot chipped. Height 9.5 cm. From Japan, Saga Prefecture (Hizen Province), Arita, "Imari" ware. Attributed to Late 18th - Early 19th century.
