Twined, small, shallow. Grimy from use. Part of rim broken off, and a horizontal break of warp. White overlay ground for brown design. Two lattice-woven grass stems divide design horizontally. Overlay single-faced. Mostly plain twined. 3-strand twining at 0-4 cm from start; 1 row at 5.5 cm from start; 2 rows at 7.5-8 cm from start.

Almost completely overlaid, except bottom. Overlay is 2-faced; stripes around rim and a band of suspended triangles; major design consists of 2 horizontal bands of slanted diamonds, striped red and black, on white ground. Mostly plain twined. 3-strand twining occurs: at 4 cm radius from start, 3 rows starting at 6.5 cm out, and 2 rows from 10.5 cm out from start.

Twined, bowl-shaped. Grimy from use. 1-faced white overlay design, with lattice-twined grass stems dividing design. Three-strand twining for 1.5 cm radius from start; 2 single rows at approximately 5.5 and 6 cm from start.

Red pattern is Chain fern (Adiantum pedatum) in Alder (Alnus rubra). Rim bound with grape (Vitus californica). Small, twined. Grimy from use. Hoop broken in one spot. 2-faced red and white overlay. All-over stepped design. Below rim, a white band with a geometric motif repeated. Mostly plain twining. 3-strand twining occurs from the bottom up 7 cm; also the two top rows. Hoop stitched to the top. Inside the bottom scaffolding remains the bottom 12 cm. The packstrap is of blue denim and is tied on with buckskin thongs.

One side is totally collapsed; has been smashed. Partly held together by strips of cloth. Extremely fragile. Plain twined; top three rows tightly woven. Warp ends braided to form rim. A hoop is tied to rim with 2 types of cordage and lashed with buckskin thongs and what appear to be shoelaces.

Warp is possibly Poison oak (Toxicodendron diversilobum), weft is yellow pine and Grape roots (Vitus californica). Willow (Salix) rim. Small, openwork. Dirty and worn from use. One portion of rim broken off. Plain twined. 3- strand twining on bottom. 3 closely plain twined rows at top. Warp ends braided together to form rim. A hoop is lashed inside the rim with cord. Carrying strap is a piece of fabric, attached by cord loops.

Black pattern is mud-dyed tule. Yellow pattern is Porcupine quills (Erethizon dorsatum) in Wolf lichen (Letharia vulpina). Modoc type. Twined; dyed black and yellow overlay design. Weft begun with cordage. Flat topped.

White, alder red and black with 2-faced overlay. Two horizontal zigzag bands of red and black stacked parallelograms dominate. 3-strand twining: one row at basket rim, from start out about 3.5 cm radius, 2 rows at 4.5 cm from start, 2 rows at 8 cm from start.
