Basket; twined. Warp is Willow (Salix), weft is yellow Pine. White pattern is Beargrass (Xerophyllum tenax). Black color is Maidenhair fern (Adiantum pedatum). Red color is Chain fern (Woodwardia spinulosa) dyed in Alder (Alnus rubra). In good condition. Globular shape. Almost completely overlaid, except bottom. Overlay is 2-faced; stripes around rim and a band of suspended triangles; major design consists of 2 horizontal bands of slanted diamonds, striped red and black, on white ground. Mostly plain twined. 3-strand twining occurs: at 4 cm radius from start, 3 rows starting at 6.5 cm out, and 2 rows from 10.5 cm out from start.
