Hearst Museum object titled Creamer, accession number 9-12710, described as China, Ching-te-chen attributed, Kiangsi province.  Pitcher, porcelain, blue and white 'Nanking ware'. Short ovoid bowl shape, with wide straight flared out rim, with long 'guttered' pouring lip, ear shaped handle, short foot. River and temple landscape scene in underglaze blue wash and linear detail, on body, down to foot. Lozange-diaper pattern band on outer rim with lower 'spearhead' border. Band of same diaper pattern with three medallions containing emblems with fillets on inner rim. Peacock feather on handle. Chip in pouring lip, and rim. Height 7 centimeters, maximum diameter 14 centimeters.
Hearst Museum object titled Dish, accession number 9-12703, described as China, Kiangsi province, Ching-te-chen. Hot water plate, porcelain. Blue and white 'Canton, willow ware' pattern. Octagonal hollow plate with depressed flat center; flat almost horizontal marly, fluted corners of side. Two small handles of squared off knob type attached opposite sides; one open on top for water, and each with holes through sides for wire handles. Recessed base. Decoration: dark blue underglaze wash of river and temple scene with boats and bridge. Dark lattice-work band around outer edge of marly and light blue scalloped comb pattern on inner side. Simple flower in middle of each side. Underside white. Height 3.6 centimeters, maximum diameter 26 centimeters.
