Two pilasters frame the engraved surface to left and right. they support a gable with finials. A bunch of grapes between two axes modeled in the gable, in the arms of Tenedos. From a bronze document found at Olympia. The Eleian dialect of the decree softens final “s”s to “r”s. Consult Kirchoff in Archaeologische Zeitung 1875 page 183. Olympia V No. 39.
