Description:
Cast of decree in honor of Damokrates of Tenedos. Two pilasters frame the engraved surface to left and right. they support a gable with finials. A bunch of grapes between two axes modeled in the gable, in the arms of Tenedos. From a bronze document found at Olympia. The Eleian dialect of the decree softens final “s”s to “r”s.
