Description:
Cast of Greek inscription in the Eleian dialect. From a bronze one of a state decree discovered and preserved at Olympia, Greece. Olympia V No. 2. Roehl Inscriptions Graecae antiquissmae (112, 113 B) The engraver of it used a metal plate which had previously served some decorative purpose. Hence the ornaments in low relief that appear on the back of his lettered quadrangle.
