Handle is loose, partially has been sewn back on.  Conifer root weft, beargrass overlay maidenhair fern for designs.  Designs include star pattern at the shoulder, stripes at the neck.  Three strand twining at base and neck, and rim of base is coiled for stability.  Most of basket is plain twining.  Basket appears used.

Lee of Quincy #64, 83 Pitt River L.L.L.".  Achumawi or Atsugewi.  Conifer root weft, beargrass background overlay, maidenhair fern designs. Designs include cross bands at shoulder and base, and a quail plume design around middle of bottle.  Primarily plain twining, base has three strand twining, at shoulder lattice twining.  Cordage at top of neck, perhaps for repair.  Has separate cap.  Also has handle.
