She places her right hand and foot on a rock while her left hand holds a spear. The reverse side is inscribed with Chairman Mao’s quote. Inscription: Reverse: “Quote from Chairman Mao: They love their battle array, not silks and satins” (毛主席语录不愛紅粧愛武裝Mao zhuxi yulu buai hongzhuang ai wuzhuang). Lid: “Serve the people” (為人民服務 wei renmin fuwu). On foot hand written in red: “Drafting Committee of the city of Jingdezhen” (景德鎮市草委會Jingdezhen shi caoweihui).

The image on the cup shows a Revolutionary monument possibly Jingang Mountain, Jiangxi Province. On the saucer a bus navigates a mountain road. A small seal appears at the corner of both landscapes. The one on the cup reads Heshu 荷樹; the seal on the saucer reads Mi Shachong 米砂沖.
