Hearst Museum object titled Bowl basket, accession number 1-3000, described as Coiled basket bowl, hourglass patterns in red and black. Per Ralph Shanks:  Used basket, rim missing, native repairs on bottom.  Grass bundle foundation, rightward warp direction.  Butterfly design (pattern) in black outline and red interior.  Background weft is sedge root.  Black is bracken fern root.  Red is probably yucca root.
Hearst Museum object titled Bowl basket, accession number 1-71158, described as 3-rod coiling with interlocking stitches and, on interior face, some split stitching. Herringbone border stitch at rim; bowl shaped. Decoration: Black diagonal lines crossing so as to outline diamond shapes with central points in each diamond marked. Made with Cladium root. An immense amount of "flower" bug manure was beaten out of basket on November 1945. Basket is rotted from bugs.

With nearly vertical sides.  Decoration: diagonal zigzag bands in black. 3-rod coiling with stitching split on interior face.

Decoration: 2 horizontal bands of open diamonds outlined in black, one band being placed near the rim and the other near the bottom of the basket. Rim is in-curving. Made with cladium root. Coiled on a bundle foundation  with non-interlocking stitches.
