Hearst Museum object titled Mat, accession number 5-158, described as Mat, rectangular shape, tassels at each end, decorated in longitudinal stripes, asymmetric, dark brown, black, green and plain colors. L. 202 cm., W. 50 cm. Made for tourists. Conservation: moistened and flattened (1975). Note: Black dyed strips are broken and shredded at fold, dye apparently weakens fiber (raffia). Loom woven raffia, dyed.
