Hearst Museum object titled Aryballos, accession number 8-1794, described as Etrusco-Corinthian aryballos, with tiny foot, similar to 8-1793. Description from Matteucig (1951): Aryballos; height; 10.4 cm; diameter; 5 cm; (see Matteucig's plate XVI, 15). Italo-Corinthian. Clay pale cream; reddish-cream slip; lustrous dark brown and violet paint. Pointed aryballos. On lip, petal pattern; on flat handle, three brown bands; one brown band at base of neck; on shoulder, brown tongue pattern; then three bands, brown, violet, brown; reserved zone with brown leaves; violet band; another reserved zone with brown leaves; three more bands, brown, violet, brown; reserved zone; three narrow brown bands; reserved zone; point and foot solid brown. On lip, three bands, outer ones brown, middle one, violet; edge of lip, brown; on flat handle, three brown bands; brown band at base of neck; on shoulder, tongue pattern; below this, a series of five alternating brown and violet bands, divided by reserved spaces; a reserved space; two narrow brown bands; another reserved space; point and foot solid brown; three incised lines above foot. Description from Matteucig (1951): Aryballos; height: 8.2 cm; diameter: 6.9 cm (see Matteucig's plate XVI, 10). Italo-Corinthian. Clay red dish cream; pale-cream slip; dark-brown paint. Round aryballos. On lip, three concentric circles; around edge of lip, a row of dots; two horizontal bands on flat handle; on shoulder, tongue pattern; then two lions conjoined in head between two bands; rosettes; behind lions there seems to have been a bird (duck), as shown by incised plumage. Most of the rosettes and filling ornaments have disappeared. Below lion's head, an eight-petal rosette of which only the center can be seen.  Cf. Critica à'Arte, I, 1935, fig. 23.

Description from Matteucig (1951): Alabastron; height; 8.3 cm; diameter; 5 cm (see Matteucig's plate XVI, 12). Italo-Corinthian. Clay pink cream; cream slip; dark brown and violet paint. On lip, three concentric circles, inner two violet, outer one brown; on flat handle, three brown bands; brown tongue pattern on upper side of swelling or fillet; below, alternating brown and violet bands. Decoration faded.  Cf. Montelius, pl. 212, no. 10 from Pitigliano; J.d.I., XV, 1900, p. 184, fig. 25 from Poggio Buco.

Description from Matteucig (1951): Olpe; height: 17.8 cm; diameter: 10.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate XVI, 7). Italo-Corinthian. Clay pale buff; cream slip; brown-red paint. Round mouth; flaring lip; high neck with fillet at base; pyriform body on low solid foot; strap handle. Neck and outer part of handle covered with brownish-red paint; on shoulder, tongue pattern; on either side of handle, a cross ornament in cream paint; below this, two zones of double interlaced semicircles with intervening spaces filled by cream dots; above foot, three groups of seven tongues. Most of the paint peeled off; vase badly defaced by mud deposits.  Cf. Montelius, pi. 209, no. 17, from Pitigliano; pi. 264, no. i, from Vulci; Robin son, Toronto Vases, PI. XIV, 197.

Description from Matteucig (1951): Olpe; height: 33 cm; diameter: 16 cm (see Matteucig's plate XVI, 9). Italo-Corinthian. Clay, paint, shape, and decoration exactly as in no. 8-1786. Vase somewhat better preserved.
Hearst Museum object titled Pitcher, accession number 8-1786, described as Etrusco-Corinthian oinochoe (pitcher), pink painted red, similar to 8-1785. Attributed to the Vulci Painter. Description from Matteucig (1951): Olpe; height: 33.5 cm; diameter: 16.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate XVI, 8). Italo-Corinthian. Clay pale buff; cream slip; brown-red paint. Round mouth with flaring lip; high neck with fillet at base; pyriform body on low solid foot; strap handle and rotelle. Entire vase, including about 4 cm inside mouth, except for the part under the handle and the reserved space between rays at the bottom, is painted brown red. On râtelle, a cross in cream paint; on neck, three dot rosettes; dots on fillet; on shoulder, just below fillet, incised tongue patterns; every fourth tongue has a cream stripe; the two end tongues, about 4 cm from the handle, are decorated with a vertical incised zigzag; on either side of handle, a cream painted scroll; tongue pattern between two cream bands. On the middle, between two other cream bands, four incised lotus palmettes with alternate petals filled by cream blots. Below this, a band of incised double semicircles, interlaced, with intervening spaces filled by cream dots; rising from the foot, a ray pattern. Paint badly faded or peeled off.  Cf. Albizzati, PI. Description from Matteucig (1951): Cup; height: 8.5 cm; diameter: 14.8 cm (see Matteucig's plate XVI, 14). Italo-Corinthian. Clay, paint, and shape as in no. 8-1789. Inside decoration as in preceding; outside, on rim, three brown bands; between lower two bands a line of brown dots. On shoulder panel, two ducks going right, separated by seven-petal rosette; petals and feathers alternately brown and violet; brown petals and feathers filled with cream dots. Cup restored from six fragments; decoration faded and defaced by mud deposits.  Cf. Sieveking-Hackl, PL XXX, 613; Robin son, Toronto Vases, PL XIII, 185; Albizzati, PL XIII, 139).
Hearst Museum object titled Skyphos, accession number 8-1789, described as Etrusco-Corinthian skyphos. Description from Matteucig (1951): Cup; height: 9.2 cm; diameter: 15.7 cm (see Matteucig's plate XVI, 13). Italo-Corinthian. Clay warm pinkish cream; cream slip; reddish-brown and dark violet paint. Cup with offset rim; deep rounded sides, on low hollow foot. In side all brown, except for a violet band at upper and lower edge of rim. Outside, on rim, three brown bands; between upper two bands, a frieze of alternating red-brown and cream rectangles; between lower two, a line of brown dots. The rest all brown, except for a violet band below animal panel and one above foot. On shoulder panel, two ducks going right; eight-petal rosettes with petals alternately brown and violet; plumage of birds alternately brown and violet; on some of the petals and some of the plumage, traces of cream stripes; other filling ornaments. Cup restored from three pieces; decoration badly faded.  Cf. J.d.L, XV, 1900, p. 189, fig. 31 from Poggio Buco.

Description from Matteucig (1951): Oinochoe; height: 27 cm; diameter: 17.8 cm (see Matteucig's plate XVI, 6). Italo-Corinthian. Clay pale cream; cream slip; dark brown, brown-red, and violet paint. Trefoil mouth; low neck; ovoid body on flat foot; high strap handle. Neck painted dark brown; on shoulder, three groups of dark brown petals (8, 11, 12 petals); below petals, a narrow brown-red band; then a very broad dark brown zone divided in the middle by a violet line; on broad zone, two bands of incised interlaced semicircles with cream dots in intervening spaces; below this, two narrow bands; one band on foot. Front part of spout restored.
