Etrusco-Corinthian trefoil oinochoe (pitcher). Description from Matteucig (1951): Oinochoe; height: 27 cm; diameter: 17.8 cm (see Matteucig's plate XVI, 6). Italo-Corinthian. Clay pale cream; cream slip; dark brown, brown-red, and violet paint. Trefoil mouth; low neck; ovoid body on flat foot; high strap handle. Neck painted dark brown; on shoulder, three groups of dark brown petals (8, 11, 12 petals); below petals, a narrow brown-red band; then a very broad dark brown zone divided in the middle by a violet line; on broad zone, two bands of incised interlaced semicircles with cream dots in intervening spaces; below this, two narrow bands; one band on foot. Front part of spout restored.
