Per Ralph Shanks:  Coiled globular basket.  Deergrass bundle foundation.  Orange juncus background wefts with black dyed juncus and sumac designs.  The design is geometric zigzags/frets coming from the bottom.  Exterior workface with a rightward work direction with primarily bound under weft fag ends with some clipped fag ends.  The rim is plain wrapped and the coil ending is slightly tapered.  There is a hair woven into basket.  Based on the design, materials, and weft fag ends this basket is attributed to Cahuilla.

Based on the mixed bound under and clipped fag ends and the design layout the basket is most likely Cahuilla.
