Hearst Museum object titled Goblet, accession number 8-1575, described as Small goblet, designs. Description from Matteucig (1951): Goblet; height: 7.8 cm; diameter: 11.3 cm (see Matteucig's plate V, 12). Italo-Geometric. Clay red, cream slip, red-brown paint. Small goblet with wide flat lip, low bowl on broad hollow foot. Band decoration on body; on lip groups of six parallels between two bands; three concentric circles inside. Small part of lip chipped off, repaired with red clay.  Cf. C.W.A., Scheurleer, fasc. 2, II D, pl. 2, no. 2.

Brown impasto. Clay heavy cream with sandy particles; highly polished brown surface. Shape as in nos. 8-1550, 8-1551.

Clay light gray with black shiny particles; lightly polished reddish-brown surface. Hemispherical bowl with protruding thick lip. High, hollow, campaniform stem. Bowl mended from two pieces.

Description from Matteucig (1951): Goblet; height: 7.7 cm; diameter: 10.7 cm (see Matteucig's plate IV, 5). Gray bucchero. Clay dark gray with yellowish particles; shiny dark gray surface varying to dark brown. Broad, protruding lip decorated with triangular lead laminae, which have disappeared, leaving characteristic shiny marks; rounded sides; campaniform stem. On lip, two suspension holes. Well preserved, except for some traces of mud.  Cf. Not. Sc., 1911, p. 248, fig. 2, no. 1 for shape with different decoration on lip; J.d.I., XV, 1900, p. 175, fig. 18, 5; St. Etr., I, 1927, Pl. XXIV, 13, from Caere.

Description from Matteucig (1951):  Pitcher; height: 10.5 cm; height to top of handles: 12.5 cm; diameter: 11.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate VII, 11). Brown impasto. Clay reddish gray; polished light brown surface varying to gray. High concave neck; globular body with shallow vertical grooves; flat bottom; twisted handle with double base. A line of tocchi di punta surrounds the base of the handle. Upper part of handle restored.  Cf. Not. Sc., 1902, p. 497, fig. la, no. 40; Not. Sc., 1906, p. 66, fig. ge; no. 40-5562 in the Peabody Museum, Cambridge, Mass.

Description from Matteucig (1951): Kantharos; height: 7.5 cm; height to top of handles, 10.5 cm; diameter: 12.7 cm; diameter between handles 8 cm (see Matteucig's plate II, 12). Gray bucchero. Clay dark gray with whitish dull and shiny particles; lightly polished gray surface. High neck with slightly flaring lip; low bowl with rounded godrooned sides, on low, hollow foot. Vertical handles, narrow at top, widen ing and flattening at point of contact with lip and shoulder; tocchi di punta just above shoulder. Small parts of lip chipped off; few missing parts filled with dark-gray mortar. Cf. Not. Sc., 1885, PI. X, 2, from Orbetello. ij.

Description from Matteucig (1951): Kantharos; height: 10 cm; height to top of handle, 14.5 cm; diameter: 13.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate IV, 2). Brown impasto. Clay pale red with many impurities; lightly polished surface varying from light brown to gray. Low drawn-in neck with slightly flaring lip; high vertical handles, round at the top, flattening out and broadening at point of contact with lip and shoulder. Four horizontal parallel bands of tocchi di punta on handles, just above point of contact with shoulder; between handles alternate groups of two and three vertical grooves. Rounded sides contracting to small flat bottom. One of the handles is restored; lip chipped in several places.
Hearst Museum object titled Krater, accession number 8-1531, described as Large gray krater. Description from Matteucig (1951): Stamnoid Krater; height: 42.5 cm; diameter: 41.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate III, 1). Gray impasto. Clay light gray with black and whitish particles; dull light gray surface, varying to light brown. Low neck, ridged inside, with flaring rim. Horizontal double handles with amon key's head at center; above and below each handle, acord decoration of rhomboids; be tween handles, a ram's head surrounded by three cords in horseshoe pattern; two vertical cords hanging from below ram's head; on shoulder, four knobs, round in section, with flat top adorned by a cruciform impression. Small flat base. Entire lower part of vase is restored in gray clay; upper half, badly damaged and poorly recomposed; small part of rim chipped off.  Cf. Not. Sc., 1898, p. 443, fig. 8.
