Gray kantharos. Description from Matteucig (1951): Kantharos; height: 10 cm; height to top of handle, 14.5 cm; diameter: 13.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate IV, 2). Brown impasto. Clay pale red with many impurities; lightly polished surface varying from light brown to gray. Low drawn-in neck with slightly flaring lip; high vertical handles, round at the top, flattening out and broadening at point of contact with lip and shoulder. Four horizontal parallel bands of tocchi di punta on handles, just above point of contact with shoulder; between handles alternate groups of two and three vertical grooves. Rounded sides contracting to small flat bottom. One of the handles is restored; lip chipped in several places.
