Hearst Museum object titled Skirt, accession number 9-21489, described as Tube skirt; 2 woven pieces handsewn together horizontally, then seamed vertically to form a tube; plain weave; supplemental weft geometric design; blue-green background with plaid design with red and turquoise blue stripes; iridescent; central decorative panel of yellow, and red-purple stylized flower motifs border a center panel woven with alternating black and white "spool" shaped forms on either side of red and pale yellow geometric flower designs. Alternating black and white squares in blocks of 4 are placed within squares on one side of the central panel. L=129cm x W=97cm
Hearst Museum object titled Skirt, accession number 16-20296, described as Skirt; 77 cm l, circum at hem 280 cm; bright pink closely-woven cloth sewn to undyed, ff-white twill band 18 cm and gathered into 2.5 cm waistband; 4 rows of machine stitching on 81 cm waistband.  Ties attached to waistband; body of skirt decorated with two sets of horizontal stitched folds (two folds to each set.) Hem has 18 cm decorative panel; hand embroidered flowers, birds, and heart shapes.  Tiny shreds of paper remain attached to embroidery stitches, suggesting use of paper pattern. Sawtooth hem faced with pink cotton cloth and decorative stitching at hem prevents fraying.

Hearst Museum object titled Skirt, accession number 9-21610, described as Skirt ; L=92.0 cm waist to hem; W=92.0 (along hem):  Imperial Era; single panel ( 1/2 of a skirt), red pattened silk, with w/ blue and ecru trim;  deep blue embroidered bands, and ecru bands w/ Moslem (?) cutout design borders a front panel containing embroidered birds and flowers on a red ground; couched fine metallic threads and crystal buttons around front panel and lower edge.  Lowere edge bordered with 5 bands: ecru, red, ecru blue, and ecru.  Skirt is attached to a wide waist band with fabric buttons and loop fasteners.   Fine pleats border the center panel.
Hearst Museum object titled Skirt, accession number 9-21490, described as Tube skirt; 2 pieces sewn together horizontally then joined vertically to form a tube; large warp red "checks" are bordered by vertical yellow stripes and double horizontal dark blue stripes; interspersed are narrow 1cm stripes of blue; brown and yellow weft; warp dominant cloth appears as large as large red squares with 4 rectangles of alternately yellow and white supplemental weft at center of each square. 23cm x 7cm area in center panel made up of red rectangles with white, yellow, green, and blue supplemental weft geometric motifs in rectangles and spool-like shapes.
