A large hoop is sewn onto the top to form rim. Stitching has been renewed in places. Grimy and worn from use. One hole.

Bottom closed 3-strand twining. Top 3 rows closely plain twined. Warp ends twined together to form rim. A hoop is sewn inside rim with split shoots in three places and with stiff leather strip in one place. Three loops of fabric tied to basket.

Design: diagonal bands of 3 parallelograms connected at the corners. Bottom is all of 3-strand twining. Little hoop sewn on to rim.

White 2-faced overlay: solid and dotted stripes, and a band of connected triangles. Plain twining occurs: 3-4.25 cm from start, 5.5-6.25 cm from start, 7.5-8.25 cm from start, and 13-17 cm from start (to rim).
