Basket hopper. Twined. Design: flying geese. Rim wound. 2-faced overlay; black design on white ground. 3-strand twining below design area, and the two top rows. 2 hoops are lattice-twined to the outside of basket at approximately 0-2 cm and 7-8.5 cm from bottom. A large hoop is sewn onto the top to form rim. Stitching has been renewed in places. Grimy and worn from use. One hole.
