The background wefts are yucca; the designs are dyed brown yucca and an unknown red material.  The design is four c shaped elements.  The starting knot has crossed warps.  The basket has an exterior workface with clipped and tucked weft fag ends.  The work direction is to the left.  The rim is plain wrapped with a tapered ending.  The basket is Tohono O'Odahm based on the materials and technique.

The basket has a bundle foundation.  The wefts are yucca (Yucca elata) background and possibly black dyed yucca designs.  The design is five upward pointing triangles and a black rim.  The basket has an exterior workface with a leftward work direction.  The weft fag ends are clipped. The rim is plain wrapped with a tapered coil ending.  Not Southern California- it is from Southern Arizona, Tohono O'odham made. B: Slightly flaring coiled basket bowl.  The basket has a bundle foundation.  The wefts are willow background and possibly black dyed yucca and other brown material designs.  There is a black circle on the base, diagonal designs in black and brown, and a black rim.  The basket has an exterior workface with a leftward work direction.  The weft fag ends are clipped. The rim is plain wrapped with a blunt ending.   Not Southern California- it is Southern Arizona, Tohono O'odham made.
