Hearst Museum object titled Trefoil oinochoe, accession number 8-1692, described as Oinocheo, trilobate mouth. Description from Matteucig (1951): Oinochoe; height: 22.5 cm; diameter: 15 cm (see Matteucig's plate X, 3). Italo-Geometric. Clay cream, well purified; heavy cream slip; dark brown paint. Trefoil mouth; high neck; rounded body on low ring foot; reed handle. Mouth solid brown; on neck, a wavy line between three straight bands; on shoulder, metopal arrangement of five vertical stripes alternating with one or two cross-hatched rhomboids set point to point; three more bands, then the typical Italo-Geometric design of broad interlocking verticals; below this, six more bands and a solid brown bottom; narrow stripes on handle. Cf. Mon. Ant., XXXVI, 1937, col. 170, fig. 35 from Tarquinia: not an exact parallel, but it shows relation of shape and decoration; Not. Sc., 1898, p. 443, fig. 8, from Poggio Buco; Not. Description from Matteucig (1951): Oinochoe; height: 28.5 cm; diameter: 16.5 cm (see Matteucig's plate VII, 9). Red impasto. Clay light gray with whitish and black particles; highly polished red, red-brown surface. Trefoil mouth, high heptagonal neck tapering toward the top; spherical body with shallow vertical grooves from base of neck to conical hollow foot; vertical handle, round in section, with double base. At the bottom of flat sides of neck two linear and four solid triangles impressed and filled with lead; no decoration on the side behind the handle. Cf. Montelius, pi. 295, 9 from Corneto; Not. Sc., 1898, p. 443, fig. 8, from Poggio Buco.

Heavy bucchero. Shape similar to 8-1875. On rotelle, a sixteen petal incised rosette, with central disk in relief; on strap handle, a supine naked man; on neck, three grooves; fillet at base of neck; on shoulder, godroons; below godroons, two relief bands intersected by herring-bone incisions; on body, five groups of two female figures facing left; the figure in front has outstretched forearms; the rear figure touches front figure's left elbow with left hand and right shoulder with right hand; incised details; groups divided by tongues in relief. Upper part of neck and mouth, restored; surface badly scratched.

Description from Matteucig (1951): Oinochoe; height: 27 cm; diameter: 17.8 cm (see Matteucig's plate XVI, 6). Italo-Corinthian. Clay pale cream; cream slip; dark brown, brown-red, and violet paint. Trefoil mouth; low neck; ovoid body on flat foot; high strap handle. Neck painted dark brown; on shoulder, three groups of dark brown petals (8, 11, 12 petals); below petals, a narrow brown-red band; then a very broad dark brown zone divided in the middle by a violet line; on broad zone, two bands of incised interlaced semicircles with cream dots in intervening spaces; below this, two narrow bands; one band on foot. Front part of spout restored.
