Sewn rim. Top wrapped with striped taffeta ribbon and pink polka-dotted white gauze. Ties and loops of buckskin and light brown cotton gauze.

Dirty and in very poor condition; smashed and falling apart; strips of cloth have been tied on for crude repairs. Oval-shaped. Openwork with groups of 3 rows of tight plain twining, the third row turned the opposite direction. Thinner rim (than 1-16571) stitched around all the way, excepting the top perhaps. Ties and loops are of denim; other colored cotton strips are attached. Carrying strap is attached; also has cotton string. An attempt was made to repair a large hole at the bottom with fabric strips.

Scoop-shaped. Open twined work. Groups of 2 or 3 close rows of plain twining, with another row slanted the opposite direction. Rim hoop of peeled shoots is sewn on to 3 sides, but not to top. Loops and ties are made of buckskin, except for one made of dark cotton.

White fabric ties and loops, with the exception of one of blue denim.
