Cups have low waist; fairly straight expanding sides and flared out rim. Interior plain, exterior decorated w/ motif common to all pcs.: polychrome enamel floral scrollwork on dark blue ground. Four reserve medallions containing a different character each (longevity, etc.) in gold. Band around rim containing red, blue, yellow key-fret pattern on turquoise ground. Lids (c&d) are flat-bowl shaped w/narrow cylinder finial, w/ same design on upper side. Saucers (e&f) are bowl-shaped w/ slight lobes in rim and deep depressed centers (pedestal) for foot of bowls. Design on upper side. Gilt on rim of all pcs. (a-d) have coral-red reign mark of Kuang hsu (1875-1908). Chips in rim of (a&b). H. (a&b): 6.3cm. Dia. 10.1; H. (c&d) 1.2cm. Dia, 9.3 H. (e&f) 3.4cm. Wide, 'top'- shape w/ concave vertical side, high shoulder, and very narrow, short neck and foot. Recessed lid-rest in mouth. "?-mark" shaped handle, and 's-shaped' spout. Lid (b): high dome shape, w/ ball finial. deep collar: broken w/ piece missing. Two panels on vert. sides of pot w/ river and temple scene in dark blue underglaze wash. Cross-hatched band on blue wash ground under neck w/ scalloped lower fringe. Extension of same on bottom of lid. Boat scene on top of lid. Chips in mouth rim, handle and spout. Stained interior.

Recessed foot, wide smooth root rim. Enamel decoration in green, lavender, and white of small flowers, bamboo leaves, and birds in allover pattern on light yellow enamel ground. 'Ribs' marked by light blue enamel. Interior and foot white. H. 10.5 cm. max. L. (handle to spout): 19cm.
