Wife wears it during Soreo or Almado- wears it hanging across on shoulder. Man makes it for wife. Description: Apron- brown and black hide piece with row of cowrie shells on leather strap at top and double hanging straps each with metal bell and keys. Located in barrel. L=71 cm. W=34 cm. Coiled split stick basketry. Context of use: Used as bowl or plate mornings and evenings, for milking camels and eating meat. Used by anyone. Always made by women. This one made by Ronguma woman in 1979, new and never used. Flatter than most. Took several months. This is the second one she made. Round ones like this are easier to balance while milking than the conically-shaped murub. Description: Bowl, basketry; coiled split-stitch basketry bowl; 2-ply cordage handle with pendant leather strap across top; d. 31 cm. h. 18.3 cm. Description: Amulet- round ball with 4 vertical double rows of small orange beads between multiple horizontal rows of black beads- protrusion on top with white, green and red beads and chain with 2 aluminum discs hanging from bottom.
