Worn on head by young married women as ornament. Hair is arranged in a special fashion. Tas is placed on top over a cushion of cloth. A thin kerchief is tied over all. Used for first time at wedding. Used subsequently on special festivals. Worn in many villages in Northwestern Macedonia and Kossovo-Metohija. Made by silversmith during Turkish period.
