Bell krater; Black with red overpaint; grotesque dance of satyrs and maenads, caricature of a comical performance: A, the right hand satyr holds with both hands what ought to have been a wreath but is actually a toy bow and arrow; B, the woman holds a sprig of ivy instead of olive; barbarous style; line painted on inner rim of krater; good condition. Height: 33.8 cm; diameter: 33.6 cm.
