Textile Ornaments "God's Eyes." Materials: Wool yarn, wood sticks. Techniques: Yarn wrapped onsticks. Colors: a-multicolor wrappings on natural wood. b-same. Dimensions: a-18 1/2" x 10 1/2", b-23 1/2" x 15 1/2". Remarks: Huichol Indians make these, were meaningful in color and design for protecting crops and children, now popularized. A--single cross with yarn fringe. B--5 crosses with cotton tufts at ends.
