(a) Pipe. Bone bowl and shank with red-stained wood bit. Bowl has carved seals, human and walrus heads in relief, is attached with rawhide thongs. Shank has polar bear head with seal in mouth at distal end, zigzag bands, 4 pegged-on kayaks at sides and 3 animals and 1 human pegged on at top. (b) Red-stained wood box with rawhide thong hinges and tie. Red cotton covered "pillow" rest and round rest in box.
