Description: "14 5/8" x 1 1/2". Round handle. Quadrangular. Hardwood. 1. I'E KUKU. Finishing beater. Two sides have "pepehi" surfaces, each with 8 ridges (nao) per side. One side is grooved, "ho'opa'i", with 14 ridges to the inch. One side is "pepehi halua" with 15 ridges. See p. 170; p. 171, Fig. 111 c; p. 172, Fig. 112 b.
