Context of use:
Miwok style game. A ring and dart game. To play the game, the ring was rolled along by one of the players, and his opponent threw a five-foot dart at it as it approached him edge-on. If he put the dart through the ring, the roller gave him another dart and allowed him another try. They played until all the darts were in possession of one player. This game was played by children, mainly boys and by women more than men.
