Description:
tea bowl, ceramic. half-ellipse shape on short vertical foot ring; thin rim. two simple bamboo-leaf designs in underglaze blue, opposite each other on outer side; on crackle white to pale celadon ground. clay body is gray, however two spots not covered by glaze on side are buff due to oxidation in firing. h. 6 cm., dia. 11.5 cm.
