Reverse shows initials ‘LMB’ in seed pearls on blue glass circle surrounded by woven hair set in gold metal bezel. Miniature, round in round, gold metal frame with fixed hanging loop at top. Obverse frame engraved ‘M. Barras-Directeur-Consul’ at top, ‘Dumont’ at bottom. Signed ‘Dumont 1795’ below mid right edge. Probable personal decoration. 10.79 x 9.1 cm.
