Twined, bowl shape. Per Ralph Shanks: Plain twined basket bowl with tule cordage warps with tule wefts. Braided rim. Row of three strand twining at base. Probably Modoc based on down to right slant of weft twist and the amount of overlay on basket. Dark material is 1900-1944, probably a fern stem. Double sided overlay design. Designs are four sets of three connected parallelograms.
