Head hole and sleeve openings slit, bound with black velvet. On back border 3" hand-loomed cloth joined to selvedge by hand stitching." CONTEXT OF USE: Number on collector's tag, 51. "Huipil de Comalapa" one of two distinctive types. This one is noted for the "creya"- red bands on shoulders.
