Coiled, bowl shape. Tag: "YMS-30-P Mission Type” Written in ink on bottom "YMS-30-P". Per Ralph Shanks: Coiled basket bowl. The foundation is deergrass bundle. The wefts are juncus, both tan and orange. The designs include four floral patterns. The basket has a rightward work direction and an exterior workface, with bound under weft fag ends. The basket has a plain wrapped rim with an inch and a half of herringbone backstitching at the coil ending. Southwestern California, possibly Kumeyaay.
