MATERIALS, TECHNIQUES: Backstrap-loomed with cotton threads: white over-dyed with purple. Suppl. weft over-dyed purple, blue, and brown. CONTEXT OF USE: This piece possibly dates from the 1970s judging by the warp-weft count and the fact that it has been over-dyed purple (Schevill 1985, pp 25-32. CONSERVATION: Good; several holes; one torn corner; patched at two other corners.
