Flower bottle, for altar use, porcelain. Tapered cylinder made to resemble bamboo with joint. Underglaze decoration of bamboo in blue with blue-green leaves, on one side. Flat foot-base is warped, has three chips. White ground. Height 12cm. From Japan, Saga Prefecture (Hizen), Arita, "Imari".
