Description:
TEODORA BLANCO ANTHROPOMORPHIC JUG: Jug witih base ring, and straight neck. Front of the body of the jug is decorated with applied flowers, grapes and leaves. Arm at each side of the jug have elbow length sleeves, and hold birds under each. Rudimentary legs and feet emerge from the front of the jug and are crossed in front. A human head and modeled and incised face, wearing drop earrings, and with heavy braids which terminate with applied flowers, is placed between the body an the neck of the jug. “T.B” is inscribed on the base of the vessel. H=30.5cm; W=15.5cm; L=14.0cm. JP-761
