Belt buckle. Annular shapae with elevated disc on one side; stylized mouflon head on opposite. Crusty green patina. W. 3.8 cm.. 9-19816 abd 9-16818 are more typical buckles now attributed to the Parthian period (cf. Moorey, pp. 134-136) while the form and stylization and appearance of the metal of 9-16817 fits into a Lursitan provenance. Also Egami, et. al., Dailaman II.
