- Description:
- Porcelain tray. The landscape is a composite of traditional elements: two pine trees, two boats on water at right, two men (unusual that they are seated on ground), one gesturing toward the sail boats. At the left are three houses. Many of these elements—such as the outlines of the rocks, the houses, the trunks and branches of the pines, the seated men—are rubber stamped and then hand painted with greens, browns and blues. The poetic line seems to be hand brushed. Acquisition Data: Panjiayuan. 2003-2-15.
