Knife and sheath; a) curving broad knife with inlaid rosette on one side of blade; wood handle with diamond-shaped bone inlay; 2 small knives missing; b) sheath: leather over wood core; Used almost universally in Bhutan; to cut wood, meat, kill game, fight; Bhutias do not (or did not) use firearms believing that the noise would disturb the spirits and possibly also bring rain.
