Description:
case, porcelain. large massive baluster shaped vase with a high bulbous shoulder, narrow, slightly flared base, short narrow cylindrical neck. dark, dull cobalt blue glaze on exterior. white interior with many brown stained pits. mouth-rim and recessed foot unglazed. floral scrollwork faintly visible beneath surface. may have been decorated in underglaze blue on white then, covered with blue. H. 34.8; Max D. 26.5cm; Base dia. 18cm.
