Vase, porcelain, blue and white. Tall, baluster shaped one of a pair. Bulbous ovoid body on narrow flared out base; long narrow neck, and wide flared out mouth. Rim with short design in flange. Short cylinder foot under base (for wood stand?). Large underglaze design covering most of body depicting pair of peacocks standing on rocks, pair of ducks swimming amid lotus, pair of egrets, large peony flowers, pair of sparrows, and pair of swallows on tree branch; all in various tones of dark blue executed in linear brush work on wash and white ground. Cloud pattern band around mouth rim. 2 fine lines around base. Empty double circle on base. Many pinholes and iron spots in surface. Interior glaze chip in base. Design a mirror image of 9-13400. Height 46.5 cm., max diameter 17.5 cm.
