Ibo "4 Poster" mask. carved and painted wood; black, white, yellow, and red; long face with 4 post-like knobs on top of head and handling knob beneath chin. prominent lips and forehead, small inserted teeth (15), small eye holes on either sids of a matched nose. band of alternating black and yellow and white triangles across forehead. "C"-shaped ears. 4 perforations along sides to attach a drape or ruff. Conservation: Drying cracks in chin and head edges. Several "use" chips around edges and perforations.
