- God's Eye;" wool yarn and wood; varicolored yarns wrapped around sticks to form diamond shapes at perpendicular crossings; large center, 16 lesser "eyes;" fringed; 1. 39 cm., w. 25 cm. Context of use (incl. role in trade): Probably not Huichol. In Chiapas and the Sierra de Puebla some families have been making their own version of the Huichol "ojos de dios" which differ from the Huichol in that they are double-layered in construction.
