Plate: polychrome on cream ground, so-called "Talavera Ware" (tin-glazed earthenware) imperfect bubbled glaze, centered dancing crane-like bird in relief, cobalt floral design around it, wide design band inside rim has geometric designs in cobalt, green, yellow, and rust colors, the yellow and some cobalt in low relief, cream-colored ground. Rim diameter 24.5 cm.
